Founded in 2022, with our first full season launching in 2023, the market was created to champion genuine craftsmanship and meaningful connections between makers and customers.

Held in the centre of Ringwood, our market brings together quality, creativity and community in a welcoming outdoor setting.

Each Artisan Market, Ringwood event features carefully curated artisan stalls, offering a diverse and ever‑changing collection of handmade products. Visitors can discover:

Our Story

In late 2022, Artisan Market, Ringwood began with a clear purpose: to address the growing need for a high‑quality local artisan market where handmade work could be experienced in person, not confined to the digital space.

Many artisans face limited opportunities to showcase their handcrafted designs beyond online platforms, restricting the personal connection, storytelling and engagement that are essential to artisan work. True craftsmanship thrives when people can meet the maker, understand the process and connect with the story behind each piece.

Driven by a shared passion for artisan creativity — and shaped through many conversations, careful planning and more than a little coffee — Artisan Market, Ringwood was formed, launching its first full season in 2023. Today, it stands as a curated market built on quality, authenticity and meaningful connections between artisans and the community.

Are your markets open to the public?

Yes. Everyone is welcome to explore and discover.

When are the Artisan Markets?

Our 2026 Season markets are held every month from March to December. They are usually held on the third Saturday of each month. One exception to this is in December when our Christmas market will be held on the second Saturday of the month. All our dates can be found on our 2026 Season Dates page & all our markets run from 10-4pm.

What kind of designers do you showcase?

Independent artisans with a strong design voice.

Are the products at Artisan Market, Ringwood handmade?

Yes, we aim for our products to be handcrafted by local artisans. We do permit one or two exceptions due to our Artisan Market, Ringwood values.

How can I sell my designs at Artisan Market, Ringwood?

To apply to join our artisan community and showcase your designs, simply go to the Promote & Prosper section of our website.

There you will find a link to submit an application. Complete the form & include samples of your work for our consideration.

We promise to get back to you with our response as soon as possible.

How are makers selected?

Through a careful curation process - quality first.
